Hello. I'm Stacy.

May I just say that writing this little about me blurb is the hardest part of putting together a website? Cause it is.

So lets see: I live in a house on stilts, am obsessed with fat cats, and have a fondness for peanut butter cups that runs so deep, I named my daughter Reese. I dabble on the ukulele (if you’re brave and want to have a listen you can do that here), and make the best snickerdoodles on the planet (recipe here). I’m happiest when I’m outside in nature, except for when it’s horsefly season. They give me actual anxiety in a ridiculous way. My favorite thing in the world is to travel, and according to my husband I get cranky if I don’t have somewhere to go every month or so.

I didn’t seek out photography, it found me. I wrote about it here, where you can also find a very cute family.

Things I love

Lightning bugs.
Adorable, fuzzy baby critters. I mean, have you seen a baby chick!?
Hiking. This Florida girl hiked to the tippy top of Mt Timpanogos in Utah with one of my oldest friends. It was HARD.
Tattoos. I currently have 6.
Fossil hunting. Did you know you can find all sorts of cool old dead stuff in Florida? Seriously, it’s everywhere.
Kayaking, especially on one of Florida’s springs.
